In New York, it was really a chance to showcase what I could do and try to present myself with an opportunity like here in Arizona where I could play the game the way I wanted to and hopefully write my own story,
The fun thing is now you can really fine-tune on one team, ... Instead of throwing the whole playbook at people and saying, 'Here, learn all this,' you get specific now, you get to watch film, get to attack what you think the Giants are going to do.
The guys I've had in the past have been able to create separation and make plays because of the quickness. Now you have to kind of change gears a little bit. Even though you might not have as much separation with these guys, you can still make throws in areas that only they can go get it. And they can really go get it. They can reach up and make plays in the air. They're so long and strong to the ball that you can put it in traffic and they're going to come up with it.
You don't have to maul people on every snap to be a great offensive line, ... but you do have to mesh together. You do have to be smart, know who you have to get to and how to get to them. Last week I think we made strides in that area. The group that we've got in there now mesh well together, they're smart, they know what to do.
I want to win. That's the most important thing.
I think there was always that question mark of why am I not in St. Louis anymore? I think everybody had those questions and probably had those perceptions of me.
I got my career started late so, even though I'm getting older, I don't have as much wear and tear on my arm. I feel good. I really do.
I think Marshawn Lynch is the most important player in this football game.
I've done it for a long time and I didn't expect it to be any different here.
I want to win some Super Bowls, and so thats really my focus, to do whatever I have to do to lead this team to a championship,
I’m concerned that if one of those two areas doesn’t play up to par – if they give up some points or they can’t run the football – and it gets stuck on Russell Wilson’s shoulders…if he has to stay in the pocket against good defenses, read coverages, make the right plays, see the field, that’s where I worry.
LeSean McCoy has become the most exciting player in the National Football League. I believe he’s the MVP this year.
As I get older, I might need to keep the stubble off. As the years come, it helps to look younger I guess.
I just always felt I'd be playing football in the NFL - or at least playing for a living.
