I expect huge things from this football team. I expect big things from this offence with the playmakers that we have now. I think it matches up very well with teams that I have been on in the past.
I didn't want to be in a situation where somebody would have to do bad for me to get my opportunity,
Obviously it's very disappointing with high expectations. I guess the good thing is there are not that many teams that are 2-0, and we still have a lot of time to recover and get back on track.
She was happy that we got it done so she didn't have to move. Had this not worked out here, I don't know what I would have done.
Of course how it all came to an end was not how I had dreamed it up and was disappointing for me, ... But how do you have any animosity for an organization that gave the opportunities that they gave me, that allowed me to fulfill a dream when nobody else would?
The plan is to stand pat with all our guys and get this thing moving in the right direction, ... No coach ever wants to have to shuffle guys in and out and try to find the best mixture. You want to know it, and have it, and play with it.
To have him doing the things he did early in the spring, and then getting injured so early in camp I think we are all excited about adding him to the mix. He's very athletic and he can do some things out there that I think are going to help us tremendously. It's an exciting time for him to get back out there but also for us to get a gear on where he is at.
When you lose this game you feel like you've lost an opportunity. So you put pressure on yourself to try to do more to get back the next season. I think we tried to do too much the next season.
To me, that's fun. It's a challenge every week, but fun from the standpoint that everything is predicated on what another team is doing.
Obviously, things are worst in the first 24 hours. It's a little sore right now, but hopefully it's not extremely serious.
Obviously they're a special tandem. I love having those guys around. You know what you're going to get every time you step on the football field and you can't ask for more than that.
It's tough to get momentum going and you start going backwards. That's another one of those things we have to clean up.
It's not 100 percent pain-free yet, but as far as the strength and the movement and being able to do things, I feel really good.
That's something we have to change - 'the same old Cardinals. We haven't won much here, but it's time for that to change, and I think we have the guys in this locker-room to do it.
