confident continue difficult elevate embrace hopefully quality respond schedule since status team
It's as difficult a non-conference schedule as we've had since I've been here. As we continue to elevate the status of our program, we need to elevate the quality of our schedule. We feel confident that our team will embrace the difficult schedule and hopefully respond to the challenge.

amount crazy drive effort forced talked
It's frustrating because of the amount we've talked about it and the amount of effort we put into it. They're not forced errors. They are unforced errors. Those are the things that drive you crazy as a coach.
answer rather respect smith
You don't want to know how I feel about that. Out of respect to (Kentucky coach) Tubby ( Smith ), I'd rather not answer that question.
confidence game guys happiest happy high level ok surprised
I told the guys after the game that I was happiest that they weren't surprised. I could feel a very high level of confidence in that room. It's OK if they're surprised about the big win, but I'm happy they're not.
talked worked
It's not like we haven't worked on them, it's not like we haven't talked about them, it's not like we haven't drilled for it.
great last lost people pick players seem seems surprised
It's the same every year. People want to seem to pick (SEC) to be down, but it never really seems like we are. We lost some great players last year, but I think year-after-year you're going to have great players in this league. I'm not surprised in the least.
came chance control dominated finish game grab half hook second tale
It was a tale of two halves. We had a chance to grab control of the game and we didn't finish the first half well. We kind of let them off the hook a little bit. They came out and dominated the second half. They overpowered us inside.
chance control game grab half tale
It was a tale of two halves. We had a chance in the first half to grab control of the game and we didn't finish.
eventually foul free problems throws
Eventually the foul problems and the discrepancy in free throws just got us. It was too much for us to overcome.
areas athletic bit compete level saying shown skill teams
We're more athletic, but again, I'm not saying that we're at the same athletic level of all of the teams in our conference. Our skill level also has improved. We've been able to compete a little bit more athletically and it's shown up in some areas of our play.
couple felt finish found game nashville seemed somehow ways won
In some ways this game felt the game at our place only in reverse. We kind of had the game won a couple different times in Nashville and somehow found a way to not to finish the job. It seemed like they had this one a couple times.
defensive guys hard played second shooting shots
I really thought our guys played hard and played well on the defensive end. We just didn't make shots in the second half, and shooting will come and go on you, but I really thought our guys competed hard.
both cage defense energy huge key played
Cage was huge for us off the bench. I thought his play on both ends, not just his shots, but the physicality he played with on defense and his energy was really a key for us.
