goals good guys hard players puck reward score
Those are usually a reward for hard work. Good players score those goals. Guys like you and me, the puck would end up in the seats.
bit creeps doubt everybody extended game motion period score sets skate snake thinks wheel
You think you're snake bit and there's a lot of doubt in your game and, when you don't score for an extended period of time, doubt creeps in. Then you get the one off their skate and it kind of sets the wheel in motion and now everybody thinks they can score.
board scores walked wrote
I walked in and wrote the scores on the board and walked out. I didn't have to say anything else.
chances mistake score state tough
We're in a tough state right now. We have some real adversity. Every mistake is in our net. We can't score on the chances we get. We can't kill penalties.
good jon line players red score win
When you win with a player, you feel good about that player. From the red line in, Jon is one of the hungriest players in the NHL. He'll do anything to score a goal.
chances create four high lines playing score special teams
They have it all. They're playing well offensively and defensively, their special teams are playing well, they have four lines that can all score and all create chances and they're playing at a very high level.
defending poor score took
We took really poor penalties. We made defending mistakes. When you don't kill them off, it's deflating. And when you don't score on your opportunities, it's even more deflating.
good guys players score
Good players score those goals. Guys like you or I, they'd be in the stands.
expect guys people roles score
You can't expect 34-year-olds to score like 26-year-olds. Those guys have other roles that are as important, but we have to get more from other people who are capable.
fighting talked
We talked about fighting right to the end. We did and we got two points.
game jon saw sharp
We just saw Jon Sim in one game and it was excellent, so we know that has potential, and that's a place where Sharp may play some minutes.
love player reckless seems success type
We just love his competitiveness. He's a reckless player, and that type of player seems to have a lot of success in the NHL right now.
carries confident guys mike motivated pro reminds younger
We just want the younger guys around confident people. Mike is a guy who doesn't need much direction. He's already motivated -- he reminds you of a 10-year pro the way he carries and handles himself.
bit emotional goal hit loss needed quite seemed three took
We just had an emotional week, and I think yesterday's loss took quite a bit out of us. We hit three goal posts, and we seemed to not have the energy, especially offensively, to do the things we needed to do.
