We didn't play well in Montreal, so this was a big win, ... Now, we're right there with everyone else (near the top of the standings at 5-2-1).
hopefully locked struggle
We're locked in now. Hopefully we can make this interesting. Sometimes we struggle to get emotionally connected, but we're locked in now.
hopefully locked
We're locked in now. Hopefully we can make it really interesting.
four games left
We still have four games left to take a look at things and see who we want to put together,
area concerning defects everybody injury minor start terms thinking third whether
Yeah, I'm concerned. . . . You start thinking in terms of (muscular) defects going on. Right now this is a minor injury and we don't want to make anything more of it. But this is now the third occurrence in that area and that's the part concerning everybody right now. We don't know whether this is minor or we have something bigger.
guy lose move sudden walk
Yeah, a little bit. Especially where he was with all the skates. But we had to put him through this because we can't move him from non-competitive drills and then all of the sudden walk him into a game, which is real competitive and have him say he can't go. We've had too many of those where we lose a guy after the first period.
meetings playing season team type
There are times during the season when you have to review. It was very, very productive. We don't have those type of meetings very often, but when we feel like our team isn't playing well, we do.
game good group guys join minutes phantoms playing ready seventh six touch wood
Touch wood we?re in pretty good shape. We have six guys who are playing pretty good as a group for the most part and we have a seventh guy (Jones) who is playing 30 minutes a game with the Phantoms who was here with us before getting ready to join us in the playoffs. So we have seven. It?s a good mix.
expect start
When you start a goalie, you expect him to go the distance.
stuff targeting
We're not targeting players. Retaliation and all that stuff doesn't have any place.
guys miss
We?re lucky. These guys come up and play and they don?t miss a beat.
guys lucky steps
We?re lucky because those guys (the Phantoms) are 25 steps down the hall,
checking game learn protect shut
When we protect a lead, what we still have to learn to do better is checking for 60 minutes. Sometimes we let up and we need to learn how to shut a game down.
game open starting
When you're starting to play catch-up, you have to open up the game and sometimes you come back and sometimes you give up more.
