We kind of made our team identity and we know what we have to do to be successful. Getting off to a good start is definitely a key. We struggled with that earlier in the year. We've been treating the first period like it's our last; that's what we have been saying in the locker room before the game.

They are a well-coached team. Coach Eaves is a great coach and I really think he stressed clogging the neutral zone because he knew we had a good transition game. At the same time I think we still had our chances to win the game.

I haven't really been scoring a lot this year, but any time you can score two goals, especially the game-winner, in a big game like this, it's a good feeling.

All good streaks come to an end. They are a good hockey club. We got to give credit to them; they really took it to us the first two periods. We gave it a little run in the third but it wasn't enough.

Sometimes life doesn't go your way. I am just so proud of this team for getting this far. A lot of people wouldn't have thought we would get here.

That's the price you have to pay. We have a very offensive power play that's really been key for us. But at the same time we take chances.
