I hit my open shots - it was just my night, I guess. We had an idea that this game would be physical, but we just have to come out with a chip on our shoulder and win. ... Every guy gave everything he had tonight. That's all there is to it.

I really think that'll happen. I've informally talked to Richard (Childress), just so he knew I wanted to do that. I'll drive the No. 3 car toward the end of my career if I've done what I wanted to do at DEI, and that's win championships and win races. And I'll stick around as long as it takes to do it.

If I would have known, I wouldn't have allowed him in my car. Imagine, we get pulled over and I get caught with an armed felon in my car. Since I've been in the movies, it would have instantly drawn attention.

I had my opportunities. Lucas shot 65 and birdied the last two holes. He did everything he could to win a golf tournament. My hat's off to him. He's a great young player.

I'm very proud of the task force for the work they've put into this project. Our goal all along has been to get good information for the public so they can decide the issue. I think we have done that. Our work is nearly done. Soon, the issue will be in the hands of the people.

I'm happy with how it feels. It's good to get a new nose and new tail. Now, we're just trying to get a little more speed.
