I'm a grown man, ... I take full responsibility for what I did. It was a ball. I don't like it. I let my anger come out. I did whatever I needed to do. If nobody likes it, they could come and talk to me and we can talk about it like a man.

A lot of these umpires, they think that fans come to the stadium to see them. It's not right. Right now it looks like they have full power in baseball. They can do whatever they want and they get away with it.

I don't want to hear from them, but I know I will. They are not going to let me get away with it. I take full responsibility for what happened. I'm a man, and if anybody has a problem, they can come talk to me. I did it. I did it on my own. A lot of players have done it in the past. I did not think the pitch was a strike. Should I have behaved in a different way? Yes.

Lots of times, you really need guys for motivation, guys trying to help your teammates. Lots of times, you see a lot of guys, they don't really care.
