anyone becoming clean leave slate team time worried
I don't think anyone was worried about the past. I think that's why this team is becoming good. It's a clean slate every time you leave the ballpark.
anyone arrogant cocky face fists guy guys mound name pumping soon step strike throws word
I don't really like the word 'cocky' and it's been used a lot with myself, ... But I'm not cocky. I'm confident. I feel like with a big name on the mound, as soon as I step into the batter's box, you're like, 'Oh great, I've got to face this guy,' or, 'Oh no, this guy throws hard.' If you think that, you're already out. Those guys on the mound are just as cocky or arrogant as anyone else. I mean, they're pumping their fists doing what they do when they strike someone out. But I think it's just magnetized by me because I'm just a rookie.
anyone bulldog bullpen plus shows
In between the lines, there's no salaries ... it's nine-on-nine plus your bullpen and your bench, and it just shows anyone can win. It's a bulldog attitude.
anyone bullpen history payroll plus shows yankees
It just shows the Yankees -- with their history and with their payroll and with their All-Stars -- they're not bulletproof. In between the lines, there's no salaries and no world champions. It's nine-on-nine, plus your bullpen and bench. It just shows anyone can win.
anyone bench bullpen history nine payroll plus shows
It just shows that the Yankees, with their history and with their payroll and with their all-stars, they're not bullet-proof. In between the lines, there's no salaries and no world champions. It's nine on nine, plus your bullpen and your bench and it just shows anyone can win.
awesome
Bill's my man. It's awesome having him here.
dead hit pole telephone
We were fish-tailing in the dead grass, ... A telephone pole hit right on his door. He was in the back right. I was on back left.
definitely hurt oh
Oh yeah. Definitely wouldn't have hurt, that's for sure.
baseball
Like I always tell people, I'm a baseball player, it's what I do,
came coming impossible lay line swagger
I think we've got a little swagger coming in here. We just showed them we can do it and it's not impossible with our team. We came in and we'll lay it all on the line and see how it pans out.
incredible outing
That was an incredible outing by Doug Waechter.
ballgame leather nine today win
That's baseball. The two 'L's, leather and lumber, you've got to do them both, and today all nine of us did, ... You can win a ballgame so many different ways.
ahead bang forward good helping looking numbers obvious resume season team win
I don't think you can really look ahead right now in this organization, ... I don't want to look ahead, because I don't know what's going to happen. Because it's just obvious something is going to happen. I'm just looking forward to helping the team win this season and go out with a bang and have some good numbers on my resume when the season's over.
break gel since starting tear
We're on a tear right now. We're really starting to gel as a club. We've (won) consistently enough since the All-Star break to show it's not a fluke.
