This pending immigration legislation is of great concern to law enforcement. Local governments should not be asked to do that which the federal government can't or won't do. We do not have the resources or capacity to serve as immigration officers without great loss to other areas of law enforcement.

This is what I've always believed that I could do. I mean, if I would have given up on that I don't know how far I would have eventually gotten. I believed that I could turn it around and get over the injuries, get healthy and go out and pitch and show the potential that everybody thought I had early in my career.

Overall I felt good, my arm felt good. Mechanically out of the stretch I don't feel quite where I want to be, but it's an easy fix.

Our bus driver was great. He had the directions to the coliseum down there and he followed them to the letter. We took this turn and went down this road and we ended up dead-ending right into swamp. I don't think we'll have any problems finding the coliseum this week. I know my way this time.
