guy hit leagues minor results seen
You don't look at results in the minor leagues because I don't think I've ever seen a guy go down there and not get hit around.
fan few last leagues minor phase played tough towns york
I've always been a fan of the guy. He played for me in Triple-A. He's been in the big leagues the last few years. He's had some success. He's played in some tough towns -- in New York and L.A. -- So that doesn't phase him. He's not a Minor League player. He's a big league player.
himself leagues minor push throw whether
Personally, I don't see him making that start. He has to come out and throw in the 'pen but whether he can push himself out there to really know, we don't know. If (he can't go) we'll have to go down to the minor leagues (for a replacement).
heck keeps knew last leagues minor saw september special
He's had a heck of a year. We knew we had something special when we saw him last September and with what he did in the Minor Leagues last year. He keeps getting better and he'll keep getting better.
choice guys leagues minor stretched
I don't think we'd have any other choice really. Those guys in the Minor Leagues are stretched out a little bit. We'll see.
call days fort hold job win year
We're going to need them. There are going to be days in the year we are going to have to call on them to do the job and hold the fort so we can try to win a game. They did that today.
hot somebody trying win
We're going to give this a go. That's our plan. If somebody is really hot and we're trying to win games, it may come down to that.
difference offence start
What a difference offence makes. That didn't start out too well, down 4-0. If we didn't have offence, we don't come back in that game.
difference offense swinging
What a difference an offense makes. From day one we've been swinging the bats, and that was big. If we don't have the offense we have, we don't come back.
chance key limit mistakes plays routine trying
We're going to make our mistakes this season, but the key will be in trying to limit those. We want to make the routine plays when we have a chance to make them.
filled good moving needs
We're moving in the right direction. We filled some needs and now we need to go out there and see how good we are.
bat hoping spark
We're hoping he can give us a little spark with his bat when Gregg Zaun doesn't play. He's part of the future.
might
We were already down two there. If we were tied, we might have done something differently.
good offence shape
We're in good shape because our offence has been very good at this point.
