We expected to have a better team than we've had here in a while. The key is to play to good against the teams you're going to compete with all year because there's been optimism built up, expectations and you want to keep that going. You don't want to come out of the gate slow and let the teams you're trying to overtake in your division beat your brains in cause then everybody's like where's the progress?

Sometimes the harder you try the tougher it gets. (Towers) will be there in the end. He's just going through a tough stretch right now. He's always won for us and we expect him to again. He's just off to a slow start.

We expect to compete all year long. In saying that, we haven't done anything yet. Talk is cheap.

We could go with Reed if he's in a particular lineup. We might have McDonald in there against certain lefties. There's some flexibility there. I expect Russ to be even better there this year after getting the first year under his belt.
