chance locked perennial slow starter tells until worked
He's so locked in, but he's worked at it. He was a perennial slow starter until this year. All that tells me is he has a chance to have a big year.
hard intimidate moving starts throwing
He starts moving and then bam, it's on you. He can give you fits. You don't feel comfortable and when he's throwing that hard and he's that big on the mound, he can intimidate you out there.
bit bounce location pitcher struggling
He's struggling out of the gate, he's a better pitcher than that, he'll bounce back. His location is a little bit off.
finish winter year
He's still young enough. He can finish this year and go down to play some winter ball,
brought
He's experienced. That's why we brought him here.
ball breaking settled
He settled in with that breaking ball (after the first inning) and we couldn't do much with it.
spring trying
He's erratic. That's not him. He's trying to find it right now, and he will. That's why you have Spring Training.
brought stands threat
He's just a threat when he stands in the box. That's what we brought him over for.
found
He's out there and he's healthy. They found some holes, but I thought he pitched OK. He was around the plate.
lose win
He's our closer. He's a big part of our team. You win together, you lose together.
close drives heard hit home love needs share steady
He's pretty steady with what he does each year. He drives in his share of runs. He'll probably hit close to 20 home runs. I've heard where he's going to hit more than that, and we'd love that, but that's not something he needs to do.
hits needs tying
He's right where he needs to be. The hits they got off of him, he was tying them up or they were off the end of the bat.
arm bike catch plays riding worried
He's riding the bike every day. I'll tell you that, ... He's in shape. He plays catch or does something every other day to keep his arm working. I'm not even worried about that.
entire game guy job knew nice pitch pitching stepped
He's really stepped in and done a nice job for us. The guy can pitch and we knew that. Our pitching the entire game was outstanding.
