close consistent game good weapon
We want to get the game to Doug Brown. He's been our most consistent pitcher, and we think we have a weapon at the end of the game. So if we can keep the game close and get it to him, then we feel pretty good about it.
blame game phase phases three
We can't put all three phases of the game together. There isn't one phase to blame necessarily.
behind dig distance early games hopefully jump ourselves problem striking within
We do well when the games are close. The problem is, when we get behind too early and too big, we can't dig ourselves out of it. We want to keep it within striking distance and hopefully jump out to a lead.
best game job keeping super team threw
Abate threw his best game all year. He did a super job keeping the other team off balance.
draining stop takes time
We just don't get a stop. Every time we get runs, we give them back. That's draining on the offense, and that takes its toll. We can't stop people, and that has killed us this year.
catching knew thin
We knew catching was going to be thin this year. He has really surpassed our expectations.
best book center projects
We think it's one of the best and more important projects that the Center for Book sponsors. For most of these kids, it's unforgettable.
limited mound piece trying
We're very limited on the mound right now. And we're trying to piece it all together.
attach looking ourselves stand within
Within the team, they are looking around for a leader. We need someone to stand up and take charge, someone that we can attach ourselves to.
balls lost
We lost way too many balls off the zone. We have a long way to go to get better.
care exactly needed score
I don't care what the score is. He pitched very well. He did exactly what we needed him to do.
If we ever want to get to the starswe can't do that with chemistry.
basically combined
Basically once we combined it was like one big family.
bit guys rested weekend
Some of our weekend guys should be rested enough to throw, so we'll have a little bit more depth.
