Jody Conradt is a retired women's basketball coach. She was the head coach for the women's team at University of Texas at Austin. Her coaching career spanned 38 years, with the last 31 years at UT from 1976 to 2007. She also served concurrently as the UT women's athletic director from 1992 to 2001. We have too many injuries, and we didn't have any way of knowing this was going to happen to us. The team we have on the floor right now is not the team we projected having at this point in the season.

She's day to day. I know she will not be 100 percent on Sunday. At this point in the season we're being cautious because we know how ankles are. So it's going to be probably game day before a determination is made and there's no pressure on Tiffany to come back. Obviously, I'm hopeful. And, obviously, there's 24-hour surveillance and treatment trying to get her ready.

It wasn't the kind of effort we expect. It wasn't the kind of effort that's going to be anything except a loss. It's disappointing, because this team is good enough, but in my mind they have underachieved. Today was probably the low point of that.

They were aggressive. We gave them way too many fast-break baskets in the first half. I think I counted up (that) there were 26 points off turnovers and fast-break points they had in the first half.

Marsha's obviously done it with class and with style. It's hard to see someone leave our profession who dates back to a time when none of us really knew the potential of our sport. ... You hope there's never a sense of the loss of history.
