advantage biggest changes court extending
I would think extending the court could be one of our biggest changes and something we'll try to take advantage of.
learned seen
Just when you think you've seen everything, you haven't. I've learned that during this season.
happened number situation teams work
It happened to work out that way. But it was competitive, and there were any number of teams that could have won. It's very much the same situation this season.
defensive kept lose proud refuses team
It had to be one of our defensive efforts. You're always proud of a team that just refuses to lose ... we just kept pecking away.
doors identify opened supposed totally western woman
I think (Texas Western coach) Don Haskins probably opened a lot of doors for a lot of people. I can't identify totally with the African-American players, but I can identify as a woman doing things you're not supposed to do. That has been in my thoughts.

In my mind, they've under-achieved. And today probably was the low point of that.
america guard hard knock shots team until wait
I don't think there's another team in America that is as hard to guard as they are. They wait until you make a mistake, then they knock down shots better than any team I've played.
floor projected schedule team wins
I could have scheduled more wins for this team, but that's not what this team needed. This is not the team we projected to have on the floor when we started this year. When we put the schedule together, we didn't know who was not going to be available.
growth hard helped hope people visibility wants
I hope that it's not health-related. I hope it's that she wants a life. It's a hard job, and she's been doing it a long time. And she's done it really, really well. She has been instrumental in the growth of the sport, one of the people who helped get the visibility and credibility we have today.
