I have been very proud of these kids in their willingness to look at what is right in front of them. This is a conference game that our kids needed to understand ? and they did ? how important it was to us.

He was a monster on the glass. He has the mind-set where he wants to get every rebound and that is pretty rare for a high school kid.

(He's) a workman, a self-made player. He's a kid that has to scratch and claw for everything.

He had a whale of a game. There weren't many shots that he took that were uncontested, so he hit some tough shots.

He did a great job of getting to the open spots and his teammates did a great job of getting him the basketball. He was pretty relentless on the glass at times, and I thought his teammates did a good job of finding him where he could get looks. I thought our ball movement as a team was pretty good.

He has the ability (to go) inside or outside so that allows him options. As a result, hopefully it makes him tough to guard.

I think our kids did a good job of being in the right frame of mind; to come out on the road in a conference game and be ready to play right off the bat. I've been very proud of these kids in their abilities or their willingness to look at what's right in front of them.

He's so fluid and so smooth that it can lull you to sleep at times. He has the ability inside and outside, so that allows him some options. As a result, that makes him tough to guard.
continue guys physical
He's relentless, obviously. There are a lot of guys that have the same physical attributes, but I think for him, it's as much mental. He'll come at you and continue to come at you.
