Rick asked me if I wanted anything on third down? ... And I said I didn't know what they were doing on third down. That's bad to say, but that's the truth. I've had a chance to look at the opponent this week. It's been kind of tiring but refreshing at the same time. I don't call the defenses, but at least I know what the heck is going on.
eight joe practice system
One thing about Joe is he doesn't need a lot of practice because he's been in the same system for eight years. So it's not like he doesn't know what's going on. If he's healthy, he'll play. And, if he's not, he won't play.
great heard hope players supposed works
I was supposed to be there today, but I haven't heard anything yet. I really hope it works out because it's a great job. There are some talented, young players there and a great owner.
decided hard last next sit year
Last year was a hard year on myself and all the coaches, and really the whole city. So I decided that if I didn't get a job, or the right job, that I would probably sit out a year and see if I could get back in the next year.

My job is to get the team ready to play wherever we play, so I really don't worry about the location.

My kids enrolled here, but we've decided they're going to go back with my wife. They're going to go back around the first of October, when school starts.

I look up at the scoreboard and there are signs, 'Let's Go Giants'. The referees, when they flipped the coin, they asked us if we wanted heads or tails. They had no idea who the home team was and who was away. The crowd noise we had to deal with, we never had to do a silent count at home.

I give a lot of credit to our players. This is the closest group of players I have ever been with.

I feel sorry for him because he had put in a lot of hard work. It's a shame that something like this had to happen because he was ready to break through.
