ball composure deliver difference fourth last quarter
It was unbelievable. There is so much difference between now, last year, and two years ago. You can't put it into words. Just all the experience, being able to keep your composure and in the fourth quarter being able to deliver the ball when you have to.
across ball deal gone guys help next scattered
I got it done without a lot of guys around me. I didn't have All-Americans scattered across the field. I had to adjust. I had to deal with pressure. I had to get the ball off. I think it's going to help me at the next level, having gone through adversity.
ball bit easy everybody handing line offensive people played supposed
The offensive line has played exceptionally well. And with everybody doing what they're doing, it's made it easy on me, ... Everybody's doing what they're supposed to do and a little bit more. We have people who can make big plays, so all I'm really doing is handing the ball off and getting the assists.
ball catch good relax speed start time
I've had a good time with these guys. I know their speed and know where they're going to be in their routes, and I know they were going to catch it for me. It was cold, and the ball was real hard. But it was fun. There's been a lot of anticipation up to this point. But now I can just relax and start working out again.
ball confident line moved night offensive tremendous
We were confident all night. We moved the ball well, and our offensive line did a tremendous job.
ball coming deal flow forget people shaky
Coming out I was a little shaky and a little nervous. The ball was a little hard, but I got into the flow of things and started to feel more comfortable. I started to forget about all the people on the sidelines. But that's what comes with being a quarterback. You have to deal with the pressure.
ball change coaster fourth last leading listen older putting quarter ride roller state
If it comes down to me leading them in the fourth quarter and putting the ball in my hands, I'll take my chances. I'm an older guy, and we have a lot of new guys. Hopefully, they will listen to me so we won't be on the roller coaster ride that we were on last year. We have to change our state of mind.
expect high
Earl had a few, and it's going to happen. I don't expect that from Marlon. I don't say much to those guys. They know I have high expectations of them, and they have high expectations of me to put it on the money. It's just one of those things.
close fine last line losing lost sweeter three winning
There's a fine line between winning and losing, and you can really get lost in it. But with the losing we've been through in the last three years and all the times we've been in close games, it makes it so much sweeter now.
affects biggest bit carbs cutting found fruits maybe natural older proteins realize stuff sweets trying
As I get older and maybe a little bit wiser, you realize how much stuff affects your body and what it can do. Cutting out carbs and sweets and trying to eat just proteins and fruits and stuff like that, more natural stuff, is what I have found has had the biggest impact on me.
insulin levels
Diabetes is all about insulin levels and sugar levels and what you put in your body.
looked opportunity
Vanderbilt really was the only thing I had going that was a D-1 and would give me an opportunity to play quarterback ... so I jumped all over it and never looked back.
bowl great
Vanderbilt in a bowl would be a great story.
money point super
You get to a point in your career, I think, it's not even about money. You're secure. You want to win Super Bowls.
