I did go slower off that takeoff, but that's each person's choice. I felt I had to do that to get a good landing. Unfortunately, things happen. That's racing. That's why people like to watch it.

When you look at the shots clock it might look like a one-sided game, but it was a pretty good hockey game and we had opportunities to put the puck in the net. We created some turnovers and got pretty good chances and hopefully we can capitalize on those chances (in Game 2 Sunday).

We've got to get our team right. We're coming out slow, and the only time it seems like we play good is when we're down, and it shouldn't be that way at all. That's the mentality of a losing team.

Everybody in our room is comfortable getting in front of the puck. Seeing somebody get hurt like (Reasoner), or like when Luke Richardson got hit in the face earlier this year makes you wince, but all you can do is hope that it doesn't happen to you.
