We're very disappointed the way the game went. We talked about being ready, about being focused and coming out and executing well. We didn't do that. We need to be better right from the start of the game.

He (Rees) is not the quickest guy in the world and he is not overly skilled. His tactics to try and make an impact in the game are to try and put the players from the other team off as best he can.

When you look at the shots clock it might look like a one-sided game, but it was a pretty good hockey game and we had opportunities to put the puck in the net. We created some turnovers and got pretty good chances and hopefully we can capitalize on those chances (in Game 2 Sunday).

We go to tournaments all over the place, and I'd rate this one with any tournament that we have been to. It has been very organized and I'm pleased with the competition we've gotten to face.

Everybody in our room is comfortable getting in front of the puck. Seeing somebody get hurt like (Reasoner), or like when Luke Richardson got hit in the face earlier this year makes you wince, but all you can do is hope that it doesn't happen to you.
