She's got a great future ahead of her. We need to remember that. I think she does too. She didn't back down. She has that ability to go out and dominate a game.

She has shown the maturity to handle everything that has been thrown at her. She has been a vital part of the team. There has been a lot put on her plate and she has handled it. You can't help but feel good about a kid like that.

She is valuable to us, because she can swing the bat, play third and pitch. It gave us a chance to work her in. Morgan threw a good ballgame.

Morgan did a great job throwing. She got ahead all night long, and I was glad to see that. It's not something we can take for granted. We can't assume we are going to score six or seven runs a night.

You had to worry about some fatigue. But for the most part they came out and got after it.

Two, big clutch hits. We had three, two-run hits and that tells me that we have kids coming up and producing in scoring situations.

We came back and started swinging the bats the way we're capable of the last half of the day. These conditions are pretty much on the horrible side, but the kids showed some great character and stuck to it and played very well in the end.

It was nice to get started on the right foot. It's good to score runs early against a good ball club. ...The kids hit the ball well early. It was just a great start.

It's another accomplishment for us. We have two games left and we'd like to continue pedaling down the hill instead of coasting.

It seemed like we got a lot of two-out hits in this game. You can't risk getting the runner thrown out when you already have two outs.

We've got experience coming back, we've got some solid players and I'm really looking for this team to do some good things this season. I really think we have the ability to get back where we were last year, but it's still a waiting game. We'll have to see how everything works out, and that takes a little time.
