This is such a tough district. We let two (district) games slip by us, but our guys never quit. I'm proud of them for never giving up, and we're still hanging in there.
The money was one of the factors he looked at but in the end the most important thing was the opportunity to win a championship and to have a significant role in that. When it came down to those factors, the Spurs were the best fit.
I thought we had it. But they made their free throws.
I think there will be a lot of factors that will go into it, but having a chance to play for a championship is certainly going to be important.
He's already done some positive things that are going to help put him in a positive light again. He wants to be involved in the community in Salt Lake City.
He's been coming around. He's had some good practices lately, and they're starting to carry over into the game. That's just what we need.
When they got the ball inside, they still threw it over the top. When you're 6-foot-6 and 6-7, you can do that.
He was attracted to the idea that he's going to be the face of the brand and financially they made it worthwhile enough that he was willing to forgo the opportunity to see what the market said after next season.
He had a tough time. They (the Suns) were in it to the end.
He had a good conversation. He has a tremendous amount of respect for the team. Obviously, they're one of the up-and-coming teams? He had a lot of good choices. He had to narrow that list down.
We talked about them all week. We knew we couldn't give them any room and we couldn't be late.
His defensive intensity and the way he pushes the ball up the floor fits Lewisville's style. We try to keep people back-pedaling, and he does a good job at that. His scoring is a plus. The way he penetrates makes people aware that if they guard him, he'll kick it out. If they don't, he'll go to the basket.
I don't know if there aren't any films like 'E.T.' anymore. I just feel that the industry has changed so much. There are so many outlets now.
He appeals to corporate America because he does have a clean-cut image. He has no tattoos. At the same time, the way he plays, he does appeal to the hip-hop generation.
