It's tough to come together defensively right away. That takes work. We threw the ball away too many times. But if you have good offensive players, you can get by.

It's pretty cool for the university to do that. It's a great thing for my area. The Scranton fans have been great for Syracuse.

It's given smaller guys more of an opportunity to shine. The big guys had an edge when there were only two-pointers. Now little guys have an extra edge too.

It didn't matter how I was feeling. There was no question what was going to happen because I saw the scoreboard. It was time to play ... I feel great now. Tomorrow morning is the tough thing.

Today was overwhelming. I can't put it into words. I didn't expect it to be as emotional as it was. It was an overwhelming experience. I've had four great years. To say goodbye is difficult.

The bottom line is, you have to win. You have to go down there with the same mentality as if you were a No. 1 seed or a No. 16 seed. We've had good seeds in the past. We had a good seed last year, and look where it got us. We have to go down there with the mentality that we still have a lot to prove. We still think we can hopefully make some noise in this tournament.

I said yesterday's shot was the best under the circumstances. I'd have to change that to today's. We needed it.

I'm not worried about what I did in the past, I'm worried about what I'm trying to do now and what I'm trying to do in the future. This is my last shot for a run at the title. Freshman year I was fortunate, I was lucky to be a part of a great team like that and to make a run at the right time. That's what we're trying to do.
