This was a very, very, I want to say entertaining, but more so, hard-fought contest. Both teams fought extremely hard throughout the entire game. We feel we deserved to win, but they feel the same.

There are really not any state guidelines on who can and cannot be a sonographer. What's lacking here is that virtually anybody can buy an X-ray machine and say that they do sonography.

That (run) was paramount. We talked about, going into the game, that this team was on their last leg. They felt if there was one game they had a chance, it was against us. I told our team to go out and take them away, because then there's nothing else left. And that's what happened.

It was monumental if you want to call it that. It was something I think our kids wanted and a lot of people are going to say they're playing for me. No, they're playing for themselves.

It shows that they take education first and athletics second. They came here because they wanted a quality education. There are others who don't understand that and don't get the best education.

It's hard to play when you're limited. I give our kids credit. They didn't stop fighting.

It seems wiser to consolidate the policymaking and the funding allocation responsibilities in the same body, ... When you have multiple boards existing in a climate of dysfunction, you lose accountability.
