We just don't have options until Bowman gets healthy. We had a chance to go into the ninth inning in this one down one, but we basically gave them three runs earlier. That changes the whole complexion of the game and it ties your hands.

Our defense is just pathetic right now. At this level, there is no excuses for what we have witnessed and what we are witnessing. That is a simple part of the game and it has nothing to do with inexperience. It is a focus thing and a concentration thing.

We are not placing a lot of demands on them right now. It's hard on everyone. All of our guys knew him pretty well. Everybody has been affected by it.
