bail believes bush coaches confident great guys man tremendous
Reggie Bush is a very confident young man who believes in himself. Vince Young is a tremendous athlete. I think he's going to be a great player. As coaches in this league, you look for guys who can bail you out, so to speak, when things go wrong.
impressive man workout
Very impressive workout and very impressive young man also.
kid
Very impressed. The kid put on a show.
gravitate himself player teammates
One of the things that impresses me about him is the way his teammates gravitate to him, which I think is important for a player at that position. You could see a little of that today. He handles himself real well.
five playing road six unusual
That's a tough-looking stretch. Playing five out of six on the road is unusual in this league.
earn football games hope league monday night playing team type
I think you have to earn that right in this league. You get showcased in this league for those reasons. We want to get this football team playing that well where we're getting opportunities to play on Monday Night Football and those type of things. We want to earn our keep and we hope to be in those games soon.
definitely excited
I can tell you that we're definitely excited about the possibilities.
ask guy
He made every throw. He did everything you could ask a guy to do in this situation.
center felt front guys leader needed sat
His presence, if he sat here at this table, (you'd see) he's a leader. And we felt our guys up front needed a leader to come in at the center position.
best brings centers far kinds league looking toughness worried
He's been one of the best centers in the league when he's been healthy. We're not worried about his health. He brings us the kinds of things we're looking for as far as toughness and leadership.
came comparing options process remain system throughout
Throughout a process like this you're comparing how so and so did in this system when he came out or whatever. I think anything could happen. I think our options remain open.
add confidence guys hand job league maybe
You always want to find what a guys does best. After that, maybe you add some things. But most guys have got to get some confidence they can do one job in this league before you hand them too many other ones.
agreeing cap change efforts help improve position space
By restructuring his deal, that frees up cap space and agreeing to change positions, he has put us in position to improve on the line. Efforts like that will help us win.
calling field fitting kid perfect plays schedule teach
I look at what we do and what we teach and see him fitting into that very quickly. He can make plays off schedule and in this league, as a coach, you're not calling the perfect play all the time. When you don't, you want a kid who can go out there and keep you on the field and make things happen. That's something he possesses.
