coffee boys men
The most annoying person on the BBC is Russell Brand, I've actually been close up to that boy. He smells like when you mix garlic with coffee and alcohol. I'm just saying when you get close to him, he could do with a bit of Sure For Men, he stinks.
car driving license
I've got a fleet of cars and I've never had a driving license, ever.
thinking wish stones
I'm a massive fan of the Stones, and I don't think anybody should deny them the right to carry on making music. I just wish they wouldn't wear leggings.
thinking scary answers
There are periods where you think, "What am I doing?" or "What am I doing it for?"; that's a more scary question. "I've made s - -loads of money, I've left my mark in music, why am I still doing this?," and it takes a while to answer that question.
mean oasis giving
The thing about bands is everybody wants to be the next Oasis, and that doesn't mean slogging it out around the toilet [gigs], it means, "Give me the check, I need to go to the Levis shop and I need a 1960s Gibson."
albums involved
Every album I've ever been involved in, on the day that it came out I believed in it.
song writing thinking
My first instinct when I write songs is not a negative one. It's something positive... Everything I've ever done has some form of hope in it, I think.
baby eye cry
I don't like John Terry and I never have. He's got funny eyes and he's a cry baby. He's also a Cockney.
writing guitar useless
It took me to about maybe 16, 17 or 18 or something to realise I was absolutely useless at everything else except for playing guitar and writing words
records opinion
For the record, I Iike Jay-Z. That's my opinion.
home moon oasis
If I ever get to go to the moon, I'll probably just stand on the moon and go 'Hmmm, yeah...fair enough...gotta go home now.'
dad men thinking
I do think my old fella wasn't much of a... I don't remember him ever being a 'dad' dad. He was too busy working. It was a hard life, man.
dream song home
Maybe the songs that we sing are wrong / Maybe the dreams that we dream are gone / So bring it on home and it won't be long / It's gettin' better man!
believe thinking band
I've never understood musicians who don't enjoy doing promotional interviews. I just can't believe it. I always think, 'Your life must have been so brilliant before you were in a band.'
