defensive good great kids willing
She's one of those kids who's good on the ball, and she's really good off the ball, too. She's willing to take a charge, and she does a lot of the little things that go into making a great defensive player.
confident consummate everybody grand greater knew leader night plays run sacrifice scheme score teammates willing win
We don't run many plays for her, which is different than in the past. But the grand scheme was to make everybody feel important so that, if and when she had an off night in a big game, her teammates would feel comfortable and confident that we were still going to win because they knew they could score as well. She's been the consummate leader for us in that she's been willing to sacrifice for the greater good.
bench build high instead kids players program quality quantity school schools sitting three top willing
It's because high school kids are getting better and better. The quality and quantity is getting better. Players are going to different schools now, not just the top two or three teams. They're willing to go build a program instead of sitting on the bench at a well-known school.
available bench definitely impact major minutes players playing possible sit start willing work

affect great looking lost maryland people record teams thinking
We just lost to two great teams ... but I think people are looking at our record thinking we're on a downslide. Because Maryland is such a great team, I don't think it should affect our seeding.
anxious pleased ready word
We were ready to play from the word 'go'. I was very pleased with our start. I was a little anxious to see how we'd come out and if we'd be a little off our rhythm, and we weren't. We were ready.
certainly needed tone
We certainly needed her. She set the tone for us.
exciting great
It was an exciting game. It was a great game. But it was just one game.
both dates game hard home ironic ncaa playing schedule season tried trying work year
I've been trying to get back home with my team. It's kind of ironic that we both tried hard to schedule a game this year during the season and unfortunately the dates did not work out and we're now playing each other in the NCAA Tournament.
against crystal great knew sidelines three
Crystal would make a great play, and I would be on the sidelines cheering, 'Yea, Crystal,' and then I would be going, 'Oh, my God,' because I knew I had to play against her for three more years.
became early game great wore
Early on, we were the aggressor, and I thought we did a great job. But I thought as the game wore on they became a little more comfortable.
games pressure seen time
Every time their games went into overtime, they won. I've seen many instances where the pressure is really on, and they come through.
basketball bit people tune
People that aren't typically women's basketball fans, if they just tune in for a little bit and see them play, they'll come back for more.
