We were optimistic going in, but it's very difficult as a Division 4 team. We don't have the luxury of playing mediocre teams. Each game we play, we have to come out with our best stuff. But I think we played them hard and at times played well.

I was surprised by their defensive intensity and how fast they brought the ball up. But this was one of our best seasons. I'm blessed to have such a good team. She dominated. She killed us from inside and from the free throw line. We couldn't drive the ball, and the one thing that kills us is when get unbalanced in our scoring. Amanda was proving us with a lot of points in the first half, but when they shut her down in the second, we didn't have anyone there to pick up the slack.
