It's not overblown, it's the truth. I have to hear about my age every day, especially when I first got here. That's one of the issues we have here. We have other issues. To add one more isn't going to bother anybody.

What I did wasn't just for Latin players. I did this because I want to live in an America where no one regardless of their skin color has to hear that stuff anymore. For too long, I had to listen to that stuff, and it wasn't right and it isn't right now.

It was very difficult. He just hasn't been the same pitcher. His velocity was down, and he had no life on his fastball. That has been missing since last year. Personally, I love him and the way he plays. Everybody likes him.
