believe bonds came giants good help knee last late outfield rule year
I believe that the DH rule is going to be in effect, so Bonds will probably just hit. I think it will be good for him to get those at-bats without having to be in the outfield like he did when he came back late last year on that knee and at least sharpen his swing, which really don't need a whole lot to be sharp, but it will be a help for him and to the Giants and to the tournament, to the U.S. team.
believe guy
I believe the guy has been around long enough to know what he's doing.
batting good help hit hitter third
Batting third could help him hit .300 for the first time. He's too good a hitter not to have done that.

If they pitch to him, he's going to swing a good bat. I'd pitch to him if the game doesn't mean anything. ... The fact he told me to leave it the way it is, 'cleanup,' tells me he's ready to compete out there.
doubts hit swing walk
I don't have doubts that he'll hit or that they'll walk him. The swing has always been there.
bat both legs saw standing sunday
I didn't like what I saw Sunday - he didn't look like he was standing on both feet. The bat is there; the legs are not.
field
I'd like him to play even if the field isn't 100 percent.
base ray second
I'd like to use him at second base when Ray is out, as he is often,
saw
No brawl. No fight. Kind of a strange. I never saw anything like that before.
played
Right now I'm penciling him for cleanup. And that's before we've even played a game.
