I've been here a week-and-a-half, but it feels like a year. Michelle is such an accomplished skater and I thought it was important for her to have every opportunity to be here. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to come here and have the experience. It has been so much fun. I've just enjoyed every minute.

I did start by being a little slow this year, but right before nationals I stepped up my training. At nationals, it was such a great experience to get onto the podium. I'm so excited to have the whole Olympic experience.

She said to just have fun with everything. And I feel like I went out and had fun. It's great she's been here with my whole family and been so supportive. Now that I'm on the ice and she's up in the stands, I know how she feels. Maybe she knows how I feel, too.
