guys playing sitting stretch veteran
I don't like players, especially veteran guys, sitting over there not playing for a stretch of games, ... I think it's important to keep guys involved.
few guys passing playing
Caron was one of the few guys who got into it defensively, getting into some passing lanes, getting deflections and steals, and playing physically.
determination forced game guys stepped tough won
Caron is as tough as they come. It was his will and determination that won the game for us. He forced his will upon the game, and other guys really stepped up.
bit came concentration goes
He came back a lot more focused, with a lot more concentration and a little bit more humble. We'll see where it goes from here.
admire brown changes coaches coaching good guys help larry realize sitting teams trying
You see a lot of good coaches just coaching their players, making changes and trying to help their teams win. I see Larry Brown sitting guys down. Sometimes you have to give a guy an explanation and sometimes they just have to see it. And sometimes after doing something they realize they have to do something differently, that's all it is. I admire those coaches and I want to be a good coach.
goes guy hard physical played seems suck ton type
It just seems we've been in a ton of these type of games. They are heartbreaking losses. We played hard and very physical but when a guy comes in and goes nine-for-nine for his threes you've just got to suck it up.
goes guy played seems suck though ton type
It just seems like we have been in a ton of these type of games. We played very hard, when a guy goes nine-for-nine though you have to suck it up.
closing good guys mark quarter reach seemed stock talking
It seemed good at the time: 'This could be the closing quarter for us to reach a mark that you guys have been talking about. I haven't really put a lot of stock in that. . . . If we thought .500 was a goal, then there's nothing more to achieve.
calls came distracted energy felt game half lost second
You've got to give them (Memphis) credit. They came back with a lot more energy in the second half and they got the juice. I felt we were distracted by some of the officials' calls and we lost our focus. That was the part of the game I was disappointed in.
battery depending either injuries meet severity simple state sustained violation
And it would certainly, I think, meet all of the requirements for a violation of state law, either simple battery or second-degree battery, depending upon the severity of the injuries sustained by Mr. Davis.
good patience skills
Andray has a good feel for the game, he's got really good skills but he's also young and a lot of patience is going to be involved, ... He has a big upside, I believe.
anybody bench counter fourth good terrific
Their bench really did a good job, especially Derek Anderson. We didn't have anybody to really counter him. Gilbert did a terrific job, Antonio did a terrific job, we just didn't have that third, fourth scorer for us.
far game history single won
This history part of it is just that -- it's history. It's a single game with its own personality. We were very competitive down there, and we thought we should have won down there, and that's as far as it goes.
