Edward Palmer Thompson, usually cited as E. P. Thompson, was a British historian, writer, socialist and peace campaigner. He is probably best known today for his historical work on the British radical movements in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, in particular The Making of the English Working Class. We played pretty well the second half. We got a good game from Lee Turner. He rebounded the basketball well and I?d say he was close to our leading scorer.
We have a good strong nucleus of sophomores and have a really nice freshman class,
I thought it was a really good team effort. I thought we played well, defensively, and we forced them to take some tough shots all night. We did a good job on the boards.
I'd like to get a couple of our girls in (districts) as individuals. It should be a good, fast meet and real good competition. Division I and Division II are getting closer and closer. It raises the bar a little bit and pushes everybody to do their best.
