Edward Palmer Thompson, usually cited as E. P. Thompson, was a British historian, writer, socialist and peace campaigner. He is probably best known today for his historical work on the British radical movements in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, in particular The Making of the English Working Class. I thought it was a really good team effort. I thought we played well, defensively, and we forced them to take some tough shots all night. We did a good job on the boards.
We got off to a great start and I'm really proud of junior walk-on Nicole Barnett, who set a career high on floor and tied Julie Dwyer for the team's high score. We had a great finish under pressure, but unfortunately, the problems on the middle two events much closer than anyone from Auburn would have liked.
