ball came cuts hard playing shoot turned
Rashad came in at the end and turned it up. He got to the free-throw line, made some hard cuts without the ball. We all know he can shoot it, but him playing without the ball is another focus.
anywhere dreaming gold kevin people plan pot talks wish
People can want and wish all they want to. Kevin Garnett is our guy. We don't plan on him going anywhere . There's no talks about him going anywhere. All those people that are hoping, wishing, wanting, tampering, writing, dreaming ? there's no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
trade
We could've benefited from it, but we made a different trade.
heck job
Bracey did a heck of a job down the stretch. He was more comfortable and I think he relaxed.
ball push run stop time walk
I've always told them to run. The only time we want to stop and run a set play is on a dead-ball situation. We get a rebound, we want to push it. We never want to walk the ball up the court, never.
davis liked might ricky sooner start
I've always liked Ricky Davis from afar. Sooner or later, it's going to happen. Might as well start him right now.
cutting goes practice recipe season
As the season goes on, that's going to be the recipe for him, cutting back his practice time. If you're a 10-year veteran, there are not a lot of new things you're going to learn.
rhythm start time together
At some time we have to start getting a rhythm together and getting a feel for each other, and we wanted that to be this week.
again corner couple difference foul game stretch taken winning
Down the stretch we have a foul to give, we should have taken the foul in the corner (on Anthony). But that was not the difference between winning and losing. We had a couple of opportunities at the end of the game and again and at the end of overtime.
care
You have to take care of the basketball.
goal good half job minutes putting second together
We did a good job in the first half, but in the second half I thought we were a little lax. Putting together 48 minutes is our goal from here on out ... that has been the story of our whole year.
along coaching create environment playing trying win
We're coaching to win first. Development will come along with that. I'm trying to create an environment of professionalism, working hard, playing hard.
fact good last looks prepared rhythm shots
We got good looks last night, so it wasn't the fact we weren't getting shots. I think we're better prepared (after Thursday's practice) for the rhythm shots now than we were yesterday.
finally game
We finally got a game on a last-second shot.
