You have to enjoy that situation. You can't be afraid of failing. You have confidence if you've had success in the past. I've done it before, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be successful again.
We need to win one game. That's the only way we can look at it right now.
We get a lot of people here. It's always been that way. It seems like every year we get a big-name guy: Clemens, Knoblauch, Matsui, Alex, Jason, Johnny, Randy. So it's really nothing new for us.
We had chances, we had opportunities to score and we couldn't come up with hits. You can't give teams extra outs.
We haven't accomplished anything. Last I checked, you don't win anything with (11) games left.
We discussed it briefly for about five minutes and I haven't heard anything else about it, ... It wasn't like a threat or anything like that. It was just a letter from some guy. I haven't even thought about it again.
Tired, fatigued, that doesn't play a role at this point in the season. You'd love to play at home, don't get me wrong, but you've got to play well on the road to win, too.
You don't really think about it when you're playing. You remember it after you get eliminated, and then you might think about all the other times.
I've only played a couple of weeks. It's no different than any other season. It might be different because it's the beginning of the season, but everybody goes through stretches where they swing the bat well for a couple of weeks.
It was a little scary when he starting throwing punches, ... I was scared. I didn't want to get hit.
The season's not over. What if we win the division? We don't have to worry about Tampa Bay.
He's that way in the dugout during games,
How about some new uniforms and clean balls.
I don't know how many balls he's hit down the first-base line, ... I don't know when the last time was.
