I guess I was due then. Every time is a different situation. Those are big ... you've got to find ways to come through. Those are situations you have to come through because two-out hits are pretty clutch.
I guess that was a big home run for us, huh? I'll have to find that game (Mexico-Canada) on some satellite somewhere. No, I don't think I'll be at the game.
If we beat them, it still doesn't make up for what happened last year. They've got great defense and a bullpen that's one of the best. They do all the little things. I think they're a pest for everybody. Yeah, we've had some rough elimination games there. You remember them, but you don't really think about them while you're playing. We've been eliminated in other places.
If you're going to win, ... you have to have the best team . So if somebody goes down, somebody else has to pick it up.
If you ask me, I don't think he's done pitching. I don't have to sell Rocket on playing in New York. He knows what's it like.
If you ask me, I don't think he's done pitching, but that has nothing to do with what he's said to me. It has nothing to do with any conversation we've had.
In the end, it was fun. I would recommend it to anyone that has the opportunity next time it comes around. It was a fun experience, right up until tonight.
He's that way in the dugout during games,
How about some new uniforms and clean balls.
I don't know how many balls he's hit down the first-base line, ... I don't know when the last time was.
I don't know if there's anyone in baseball looking for a 3-2 slider in that situation.
I don't know if we would have gotten him anyway.
I didn't think it was that bad. It wasn't worse than Rocket when he came back. What do you expect them to do? Think about it. You don't expect them to cheer for him.
He's tough. He's going to make you hit his pitch.
