We wanted somebody we had a confidence level in. He's played in the NHL, he's played in the American League, and he's playing pretty well for Reading right now. I'm very confident he can come in and do the job.

We're learning how to win by doing the little things. The season is a roller coaster ride, and the key is not to get too high or too low. We're not where we want to be, but if we keep playing the way we've been playing, we'll be where we need to be.

Wilkes-Barre had a heck of a team at the beginning of the year. It was men against boys. We grew up as the year went on. It's men against men now.

You like to see that. It is a game. The guys should have fun and enjoy what they're doing. There's a time you've got to bear down, work on your game, work on some things. He's learning when to do it, when not to.

You can block shots. We didn't get in any lanes. All their shots got through all night, and they blocked a ton of our shots.

I think they?re all something different. The combination, the mix, everybody?s adding something and they?re doing it together. The guys seem to know what the others are going to do and they feed off each other. When I see that, I say give them a chance.

We need points. We're getting down to the playoff push. Our goal every night is to get two points, and we're accomplishing that.
