bottom
But as a coach, you want those decisions. They make us a better team; that's the bottom line. We'll use them while we can.
feed seemed
We seemed to feed off that. We got better.
confidence confident level played playing reading somebody
We wanted somebody we had a confidence level in. He's played in the NHL, he's played in the American League, and he's playing pretty well for Reading right now. I'm very confident he can come in and do the job.
bury front good move shots traffic
We had some pretty good chances. We just didn't bury them. We need to move it, get some shots through and get some traffic in front of the net.
head kidding shake
It's one of those things that happens, and you shake your head and say, 'are you kidding me?' It's unbelievable.
easy line next skill takes time
Does he have the skill to be there? Absolutely, but it?s not an easy process. It takes time. Hopefully, he?s getting that time now, and the next time he?s up in the first line in the NHL, he?s there to stay.
huge momentum moved nice penalties power puck shy
It's huge (power-play goals). It's a momentum changer. It makes them (opponents) a little more shy because they don't want to give up any more penalties if your power play's going. We moved the puck right around really well, and it's nice to see that. Hopefully, we can keep it going.
great hamilton nice
It was a great play. (Joel) Bouchard got it on the regroup, and Jarrett and Hamilton made a nice play.
bit character coming night
It was a gutsy win. We need points. (Friday) night, we were a little bit deflated. I thought we showed a lot of character coming back.
book books-and-reading good move steady veteran
The book on Pratt is he's a solid, steady defenseman. He can move the puck. He's got pretty good mobility. He's a veteran defenseman.
changing easy night observe running sat watched
I wanted to observe a little more, relax, which is easy to do when you're not changing lines. They're used to running benches. Let 'em have it. I sat back (Friday) night and watched Wilkes-Barre. ... (Saturday), I watched our guys.
rest symptoms trying
We're just trying a different approach. He wasn't going to play. We'll give him a little more rest and see if that makes the symptoms better.
guys people pulling showing team thinking
We've got guys who aren't thinking of the team right now. They're thinking of themselves. It's showing up. We need people pulling on the rope.
eight fair foot games gauge left pedal three
We've got eight games left over three weeks, so I'm not too concerned. He'll tell me if he's tired, and I'll gauge accordingly. We're still not in (the playoffs). For me to take my foot off the pedal wouldn't be fair to anybody.
