folks good months playoffs sleeping thankful three until
That's the good thing. My folks were down for three months up until playoffs started, so I can be thankful they weren't there and I wasn't there, sleeping at night. It could've been a lot worse.
ankle anyone far hockey knows walk
It's better than it was. I couldn't walk the first day, and now I'm out here skating. As far as when I'll be back, I don't know. Anyone who's had an ankle sprain knows it's pretty painful, especially for a hockey player.
chance ourselves
We were embarrassed at home, embarrassed for ourselves and embarrassed for the fans. Now we have a chance to feel better about ourselves.
although gained hopefully losing none point step
Although it's just one point we gained on them, it's better than none or losing one. Hopefully this a step in the right direction.
rookie
They have a rookie goalie in there. We've got to just take it to him. Don't even let him think he has a chance.
seems
It seems to be the same old story.
both great puck seeing seen top
They're both seeing the puck real well and that's what you need from your goalies. We're not real shocked. We've seen them practice. They're both great goalies and they're at the top of their game.
benefit changes game good guys handle pieces
They're big pieces of our team. The changes in the game are going to benefit guys like that who can handle the puck. They're good for our team.
burned clothes house lost tough
It's a tough situation. One-third of the house is burned down. I lost a lot of my belongings, my clothes are all gone.
lifted point stick terrible
It was a terrible call. At that point of the game, I just lifted the guy's stick (Patrick Eaves) and he fell. It was a terrible call.
drop rookie
They've got a rookie goalie in there. We've got to, from the drop of the puck, just take it to them. Don't even let him think that he's got a chance.
Right now we're struggling. We're not controlling the puck.
ourselves proved situation sure
We let it get away for sure and we've been in that situation before. We proved to ourselves that we can play with them.
canada history honor night ready team trying worrying
Obviously, (it would be) an honor to play for Team Canada. There's a lot of history there and I'd be ready to go. But it's out of my hands. I'm just trying to play well every night and not really worrying about it.
