best bobby certainly classy fitting jersey pass special wear
It was certainly a special night. The best father-son ever to play, and to see Bobby pass the jersey over to Brett. And I think it's only fitting for Brett to wear No. 9 with Hull on the back. It was a nice, classy ceremony.
fans hindsight obviously regular
It's a Catch-22. You want to show the fans what it's going to be like, but obviously they're going to get used to it during the regular season. Hindsight is 20-20.
almost perfect win
We're going to have to play real disciplined, almost a perfect game, for us to go in there and win on the road.
idols honor reason
Any time you're mentioned in the same breath as Tony Esposito, for whatever reason, it's a great honor. He's one of my idols. He's one of the greatest of all time.
ideas careers way
There's no way I would have thought I would have had the career that I did and the longevity. Absolutely no idea.
sports years play
No matter how many years you play, it's always something new and exciting. It's sports, you never know what may happen.
sometimes humans
Sometimes you're only human and you learn.
winning sweat records
The lack of sweat to get a win is probably a record for me.
kids hockey busy
I'm so busy right now, it's the beginning of the hockey season for my kids.
guy patient
I'm usually a patient guy anyway.
living-my-life
I'm just living my life.
sports growing-up people
Growing up, sports was my outlet, my way to portray a personality. I was very shy around people but, through sports, something I was good at, I was able to make friends.
passion play stills
I still have the passion to play.
thinking winning accomplishment
Wins are the most important measure for goalies, I think. Certainly it's a great accomplishment.
