It was a good win for us, especially coming off a tough loss to Miami. You've got to be proud of what we have done so far, but our work is far, far from over.
It was a big game. We looked forward to it because we felt like they are the other best team in the NBA.
It was a big game and we looked forward to it. It's always big when you are playing the best. I think I did a pretty good job on Duncan.
It's y'all who are constantly bringing it up. We have not had one conversation about that. We're not thinking about it. If we're still at this pace in March or April, then we'll start talking about it. But we're not even in January, so why are we even bringing it up?
The bench was big, no doubt about it. All those guys played great tonight. We're going to need that from them in the playoffs.
It's a lot of fun to play in this building. It's been a long time since we've had that college-game feeling. A standing-room crowd. The fans didn't sit down until they scored the first basket. You don't see that in the pro game.
It's always good when the top teams play. You always look forward to that. Obviously, we have some history with that team being in that tough, grind-it-out series last year. It's going to be fun.
It means a lot to me, because I saw what everyone wrote about me that I was a bust. It feels good right now to have people look at me and say that kid has come a long way and he's really worked on his game.
It's going to be a playoff game on (today), no question about it.
It's going to be a good opportunity to play against the other best team in the league. It's always good and fun to have games like this.
It's been a struggle for him, but I know he's feeling good about the trade and how it went down. Things will start looking up for him.
It's great because we're no longer looking over our shoulders if somebody thinks we're taking a bad shot. There's been a lot more freedom.
It's been the best thing that ever happened to him at SC. He wasn't in the best shape he could be in. When you have success and you're not working as hard as you can, it can really be a curse because it gives you a false sense of what it takes to be successful.
It's just another game. They might look at it as something more than it really is. They had struggled against the good teams, and now they beat the best team in the league. So I am sure they are proud. They should be.
