hopefully opportunity playoff win
I never had the opportunity to be in a playoff or in a playoff race, ... Hopefully I will do some damage, and win a championship here.
complement creates game good guys mean meet met predicting realize spend spring team time training winning
I don't know much about how it was before I got here, but I can tell you we have a real good team and that creates a buzz. I feel pretty good about our chances. I'm not good at predicting anything, and after you spend a little time in the game you realize expectations don't mean nothing. I want to go to Spring Training and get in the winning mode. I want to meet some of the guys I've never met and try to see what we can do as a team and what we can't do and find a way we can complement each other.
best finish game games learned strong win
One thing I've learned about this game is that anything can happen. And you've got to play to win as many games as you can. We need to finish up strong and we want to play to the best of our abilities. If it's the wild-card, it's the wild-card. If it's the division, it's the division.
anxious best cuba sound teams
I'm not anxious to see them play good. It will be interesting. They are fundamentally sound and know how to play the game. Non-professionally, Cuba is one of the best teams in the world.
line nice
It was kind of a bummer. It would have been nice to keep the line moving.
good great landed lucky move time work
Things didn't work out in Florida. It's time to move on. Here I am. I landed in a good place with a great opportunity, so I think I got lucky that way.
battles cuba cuban fans nationals pan puerto rican
There've been so many battles between the Puerto Rican nationals and Cuba in tournaments like the Pan American Games. Fans in Puerto Rico know a lot about Cuban baseball.
anybody comment
I'm not going to comment on what anybody else said.
employee follow
I'm employee No. 21, ... I'm here to follow orders.
obviously proud puerto respect
I'm proud of being Puerto Rican, obviously we think this is a big deal. If someone else doesn't I respect their opinion. We're just going to go out and try to win.
good pitch seeing sitting wasting
I'm not that good to be wasting my swings. Sometimes you're sitting on a pitch that you're not seeing well.
deal hoping
I'm hoping I'll be 100 percent. If it's not 100 percent, I'll just have to deal with it.
normal
I'll be working my way down to my normal .185.
appreciate attention came clubhouse coming deal pay peace whatever
It wasn't a big meeting. I was coming from the clubhouse and he came my way. That's what he said, 'Don't pay any attention to these rumors.' That was it. I appreciate that he told me that. But in this game, there is no peace of mind. You just come out and you play. Whatever you have to deal with, you deal with.
