feels last setbacks sure
It's progressing. It feels a lot better. I want to make sure there's no setbacks after what I went through last year.
anyone brings desire intense played table
By far, he's the most intense of anyone I've ever played with. He's on another level, what he brings to the table every day. But you don't get to where he is without the desire to be the best.
definitely hold negative positive team thinking
I had a lot of expectations this year, and the team did as well. I feel I definitely let down myself, but thinking about those negative things is just going to hold me back. I've just got to be positive and look forward.
couple japan looking love teams
There are a couple of Japan teams out there that are really looking good, ... I love sushi.
When I get back, it will be for the long haul.
felt focus locked main mechanics rhythm slowing throwing tried
Today, my main focus wasn't as much on mechanics as much as just slowing myself down. I get a little anxious, especially with my slider, because I haven't been throwing it a lot. I tried to get into a better rhythm throughout, and when I got to my slider, I felt a little more locked in.
athletic great sure teammates
I think it was a great athletic move. But I'm sure my teammates will think otherwise. Anything to get the out.
goal
My whole goal is to come back better than I was before. And I feel I'm on that path.
last video
I won't even look at video from last year.
feels innings
It feels fine. I'm very eager. I want to go out there and do my job, go out there and pitch, put up innings and wins.
feels point
It feels a lot better. That was the point of it.
consistent felt gave good home poor tried
It felt good out there. I thought I was pretty consistent in the zone. I used all my pitches. I gave up a home run, but it was just poor execution. I just tried to be too aggressive.
expect gets good guys players respect
I think he's a good fit. He's got the personality, gets the most out of his players and the respect out of his players. He's going to expect a lot and I think guys are going to want to play for him.
ball convince games maybe mind playing starts trying
I thought I could get through it. Your mind starts playing games with you. You say to yourself, 'Maybe it's in my head. Maybe I'm not really hurt.' You start trying to convince yourself. ... Sometimes, they just have to take the ball away from you.
