emulate front matter runs trying works
It doesn't matter how he runs the first part of the race, he always runs up front and I think that's because he works on his stuff. So that's someone I'm trying to emulate there.
benefits enjoying success
I think I'm the one that benefits and it's making me look really good. The success we've had is not all my doing, that's for sure. But I am enjoying it.
absolutely worried
Win? Absolutely they can win. That's why I'm so worried about (this race).
accident balance caught close everyday mechanical pit problem season share speeding teams types worse year
I think from the outside, things look worse than they are. But those of us on the teams and working on it everyday know how close we have all been to having a completely different season up to this point. You get in an accident that wasn't your fault. Or get caught speeding down pit road. Or have a mechanical problem that wasn't really anyone's doing. Every team is going to have their share of those types of things before the year is over with. If it does, then everything will balance out, and we'll be back in it in no time.
checkered completed flying johnson miles time took
Johnson doesn't know it, but I completed more miles than he did by the time he took the checkered at Daytona. I was already flying west.
cup maybe roll win
Maybe if we can get us a win this weekend, we can get on the roll we need in the Cup Series, too.
changes mess ok
We just didn't want to make too many changes and mess anything up too much, ... We'll be OK for the race.
car destroying kept tight
To make it into the top-10 was OK, ... We had a better car that that. We were just too tight and we kept destroying the tires.
four guys happen trade
You know there's only four guys I'd trade with right now in the garage, points-position wise. So, I think we're doing OK. We'll make something happen here.
prove
For sure, I want to prove him wrong,

apologize job kyle slowing
I apologize to Kyle and his fans. I should have done a better job of slowing down.
car guys thank three
If we do this for three more weeks, we'll be all right, ... Man, I can't thank my guys enough. The car was just awesome.
expected might nobody win
I don't feel any pressure, ... If anything, I might be having a little too much fun. Nobody expected us to be here; nobody expected us to win the championship.
