groove positive season seems start time
Everything seems so positive around here. You want to see where this new positive way will take us. It's time to get back in the groove so we can start this season off with a bang.
bone bruise definitely fine found four game gotten months patient season six start takes wait wind
Once I found out it was a bone bruise and it takes four to six months to heal, then I was fine with that. It's only been four months, and it's definitely gotten better. ... I just have to be patient and wait for it to heal. I mean, if the season was going to start today, I'd wind up playing. It's not one of those things where I'm going to be out. If we had to play a game today, I'd be ready.
jump program reason score starting worry
It's just one of of those things you have to program yourself to not worry about. It's no reason to jump on our starting pitchers. We just have to go out and score more runs.
testing
We would do start-up testing in 2014 or 2015.
almost best brings definitely playing
Those two (teams) will always be the measuring stick. I like playing on the road, period, and being around the big-time atmosphere. It definitely brings out the best in you. Something about it is almost electric.
fresh good hard job last remember vibes
You feel so many good vibes around here now. It's so fresh that it's hard to believe, but they are doing a good job getting the vibe out of last year. By the end of the year, we won't remember those old days.
fun
Everything is still positive. Everybody's still having fun.
ask funny
Baseball's funny like that. Don't ask me how something like that happens.
calling count funny guys nfl order pitch ready spot study technology watch
We watch so much film, calling up pitch by pitch, count by count in order to spot tendencies. Technology is a big part of how I get ready for a game. What's funny is a lot of the NFL guys say they study the 'Madden' game; that's how they learn to read offenses and defenses.
beyond life talk talks
We talk way beyond baseball. When it comes to life experiences, I go to him for that. When it comes to baseball, he talks to me. We kind of swap information.
hopefully worry
We just want to go out and play baseball. We don't want to have to worry about this kind of thing. Hopefully that's the end of it on the field.
happy last missed
We missed him last year. I know he wasn't happy about not being able to play.
act cry era selfish worried
(Washburn) shouldn't cry about it; he should take it for what it is. Do it the right way, ... He got the win, and that's the only thing he should be worried about. That's a selfish act to be worried about his ERA after he's already got the win.
division good measured road
We all want to be measured up in this division and see where we stand. We'll have a good idea after this road trip.
