good job recognize shot
It was a good shot. It's my job to recognize when the shot (clock) is down to 10; I have to make something happen.
intensity level surprise
The intensity level for them was high. They're going to surprise some people.
backed below clock confidence defender definitely giving job needed reaches room shock shot took
They weren't giving me any room and the defender kind of backed off, the shot clock was going down and we definitely needed it so I took it. I have confidence in myself. It is my job when that shock clock reaches below 10 to make something happen.
attack came everybody high intensity level offensive plays second senses smart surprise
Everybody came back to their senses (in the second half) and we started making smart plays on the offensive end. But they were able to attack (early) and get the momentum. The intensity level for them was very high and they're going to surprise some people.
coach east happy step time toward win
It's big to come and win here. It's the first time in history. I'm happy for coach Stringer. We look at it as a step toward the Big East title.
definitely east monkey time win
It's big to come and win here for the first time in history. It's definitely a monkey off our backs, but they still have to come to our place and then in the Big East tournament, so it's not over.
enjoy experience expressing talk talking
We talk all the time. We were just talking about expressing how we should feel. We just have to enjoy the day because this experience will never come around again.
We just wanted to come out and have fun.
box easier elevate game jump means might small
They elevate our game to another level. They're quicker, faster, they can jump higher. So that means you have to play smart. You might have to box them out so they can't jump over you. Or when you're elevating on your shot, you might have to elevate even more just because they can jump higher. The small things like that, they make the game easier for us.
game played team virginia west win won zone
There was no way I could win this game for us. They played a 2-3 zone and I can't do it by myself. It's a team game and West Virginia played as a team. We did not play as a team offensively or defensively. There was no way I could have won this game for us.
god looked year
It's all happened,' Pondexter looked back on her year of trial, 'the way God wanted it to happen.'
believe continue guys possession rough time
It was rough but we had to continue to believe. Every time I went into the huddle I told those guys just to focus, to believe and take it one possession at a time.
either game headed heading hurting kept taken temple
The Temple game unmasked us. It showed a lot. As a group, we were hurting after that and we could have taken it either way, kept going down or headed in the right direction. I think we're heading in the right direction.
tremendous
Rutgers is for real. We have a tremendous team.
