gotten groove helped job
He has gotten in the groove where he's comfortable out there and making all those pitches. He has helped this rotation, and I can't say enough about the job he has done.
ball good jump last plus
He has a plus arm. This is a big jump -- he was in A ball last year. But it should be good for him.
misses ok
He was OK. Just OK today. He got through it, but when he misses he misses.
pitcher settle
He was off tonight. You don't like for your pitcher to be off that much. .Ê.Ê. But at the same time, you've got to settle down and make some pitches.

besides gave great nice slider
He was outstanding. What a nice job. B-Law gave us a great effort. He let one slider get away from him. Besides that, he was right on his game.
ball looked track
He was out of synch. It just looked like he didn't have a feel of where the ball was going, and he couldn't get on track out, there so I had to go get him.
cost couple hyped mistakes settled
He was probably a little hyped up. We made a couple of mistakes that inning that cost us runs, but he settled down and pitched well.
blow defense great guy hot playing terrific
He was playing terrific baseball. He was playing great defense and he was one of our hot bats. This is a big blow for us. He's a guy we're going to miss.
fastest feeling game
He was feeling pretty good. He's one of the fastest catchers in the game -- if not the fastest.
command erratic mistakes
He was erratic with his command and made a lot of mistakes today.
earned himself played took win
He's played very well, and to be honest, he's flat-out earned this. He took it upon himself to win this job, and that's what he's done.
played playing second
He's played a lot of positions. Right now, he's going to be playing second for the most part.
sign took
He wanted me to sign it, ... He took it over to me.
